How have you got on with selling?!
Arghh my car's MOT is due this week - well it runs out next week, but easier to take it in this week as I'm not at work. I'm worried about how much it'll cost (old P-reg Corsa), last year was about 3250, but it did need a new windscreen. Fingers crossed...cars urgghhh;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
And God Bless Duran Duran indeed.....!! I absolutely LOVE them...have done for about ooooh 20-odd years;) I never ended up Mrs John Taylor though.....life's not fair is it?:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0

just to clear up.. (ex traffic cop here
)
If a vehicle when presented at a testing station is deemed to be a failure under MOT guildelines then the owner is given 10 days grace in which to have the car repaired. HOWEVER from that time until the time of the retest the vehicle CANNOT be used unless traveling to or from a designated place of repair or a designated vehicle tesing station.
Regarding braking systems, "every part of every braking system on a vehicle must be maintained in full working order and properly adjusted." Regardless of MOT, if the owner has been made aware that the above is not being met and drives the vehicle on the road then he/she commits an offence. any MOT failure on a vehicle, if then driven on a road other than the circumstances above, an offence is commited under the road traffic act.
Sorry saw something i am inanely interested in and decided to post... ill go back in my box.
