Moneysupermarket insurance quotes - watch out

I used moneysupermarket to get my wife's car insurance renewal looked at. All the details were input and the list of insurance companies appeared. After clicking on the one we wanted, it took us to their site. After looking at the details it had carried across, my wife was showing as Ms. and not Mrs.
I corrected that and the premium went down £15. Even though the policy noted as as married, it was actually the Ms to Mrs that gave the discount.
So, if you are female or you include spouse/partner in your policy, don't assume the info you type in on the quote portal gets carried across correctly. A check of the details could save you money.

Also, very subtle changes in job title also have a quite a difference.
Of course I would never recommend putting yourself as a secretary when really you're a door person of a nightclub, but I found that there was a few options which could have reasonably suited me and I saved some

I did my dads car insurance online last night, the portals couldn't come up with a better price than £241 via Churchill so thanks to this forum I went to churchill via quidco and done it there. I'm looking forward to giving my old man a £100 cashback now that'll put a smile on the grumpy old gits face
