Is the online sale as good as the in store one, same products etc? Just wondering as the M&S sales are generally better in person

errr.... well i got an invite for the christmas sale and also received an invite yesterday for the summer sale. However, i do order alot from the next book, all year round, so guess they base their invites on 'usage'

Charliepud, re your question, the directory sale is always really good, - but, its only been since the christmas sale that you could order online previous to that it was only over the telephone) However, in my opinion it ws always been a case of if you didnt manage to get through in the first couple of hours it wasnt worth trying,( and I think now they are doing the vip access to the sale, this will be even more the case) cos all the good stuff had gone, where as with the sales in the shops there are loads of bargains to be had for a few days - especially as people start to return stuff that they bought in 'haste' on the first day.

    happy bargain hunting

I have found that once the sale ends in the stores all the stock goes online - so it is worth checking the sale pages everyday for new bargains - many less than half price up to 3 weeks after the sale started!

    Good Luck!

Can someone help me out here?

At Christmas I was emailed a slot, with a clickable link to access the site during my alloted time. This time however, I was called and advised of my slot, but in all the excitement I didn't register what I am meant to do. Will they call me, do I call them? I've had no email from them either.

Did anyone else receive the phone call, and listen properly, and can advise what I need to do?

    Thanks

...or you could look at it that you were lucky enough to be chosen for the christmas sale and now some equally loyal cutomers are getting a turn this time around.

    Whiner!

I'm not whining! I'm just stating how I'v only been selected once in the 5 years I'v been a loyal Customer and then they sent 2 wrong sizes out that had to be returned - with no correct sizes sent to me as sold out!
I would just like to know (hence the contacting of Next head Office)that they are selecting Customers fairly, not at random - then I will be happy.

Whats up with everyone at the moment? Must be the hot weather, but just chill - it's really no big deal if you did or didn't get a NEXT VIP invite. With everything happening in London just recently, I think we all need to put things into perspective - PLEASE let's be nice to each other!
