do you mean the ridiculously minature kitchen next to a spacious dining room? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Having to go through a bedroom to go for a sh*t? nothing new and quite common.0

But there are NO toilets except for the two en suites ... so how can someone call the room in the loft a bedroom? And what about visitors? Maybe it's common where you are, country sport, but I think it is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. It's not as if the bathrooms have been there a long time or as it if is a cheap house.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000

Point taken. Other then turning en-suite 1 to the house bathroom, not to bad a layout.0

I can see scope for an extension, though the kitchen and ensuite to Bed 2 looks to be an existing extensionWarning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

Would agree they have totally cocked this one. Converted an almost identical layout house to this. Stairs to loft should be put up over existing stairs with a corridor built round to bathroom off bed 2, as family bathroom, get rid of ensuite to bed one, do proper conversion to the loft to include full dormer to rear and ensuite/dressing room to front.
Notice how there are no pictures of the loft, which should be the best room in the house. as they haven't bothered putting a dormer on the bedroom to the front will have probably only half of that floor area as usable space because of the pitch of the roof and as for the dressing room would be great for umpa lumpas, and as for access to a bathroom....basically they have created an office and store room.0 -
Yep, it's a !!!!-up.
Mind you, in our house, which we bought a year ago, you have to walk thru the master bedroom to get to the bathroom.
There is a downstairs loo though, and there is room to create a corridor to the bathroom once we get around to putting the walls up and moving the odd radiator/light switches! We saw it as an opportunity. There doesn't seem to be an easy solution in the house you show though, OP, not without moving the 2nd flight of stairs. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
spot the flaw ?
it's almost 1/4 of million for a terrace in Otley.It's a health benefit ...0 -
That's not particularly expensive for Otley. The cheaper ones are ex-Metro. And it doesn't even have a railway station. It's an expensive place, though not as bad as Ilkley. West Yorks generally has gone up quite a lot - here in Bingley, even a terrace with no garden will set you back 150K or more now.Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000
