Argos also have a 15 inch TFT LCD TV for £169.99 - Mikomi 15LCD250 15in LCD TV if you want to look it up. (No idea how to add a link!)

With thanks to pre-reg, I ordered the Alba TV from Boots.com and got

Triple points (2388 points)
1000 bonus points
1500 points using a code (info relating to this here)

That's 4888 points which equates to £48.88 off.

I also went through rpoints and got an extra 2.5% off (£5).

Net cost of telly therefore £146.11. Can't complain about that.

The 1000 bonus points offer ends today (Friday). Triple points available online until Tuesday 30th August.

Hubby says I can't actually have the TV until my birthday in November, so I won't be able to comment on the quality until then although I think it would be prudent to at least get it out of the box and make sure it is working ok

Will report back in due course.

Thanks purplepatch...that will be really useful...i`ve have been meaning to buy a lcd for the bedroom but holding back till a good offer appears...might go for the boots one..
