    Focus 1.6

Has 4 wheel, hasn't left the road yet, haven't got a calendar to time it, and does the legal limit without being pushed ! :rotfl:AND does 40 to the gal !

Nice one indeed, each to his own but 40mpg certainly appeals, perhaps I’ll trade up to a focus next time (or not)

And then get the cam belt done really really cheaply at a VW garage? :D

;) PS - I've got a sucoF - so watch it!! Be boring if we all drove the same cars - gets boring with manufacturers copying each other as it is - loved the 'old days' when you had so much variety of shapes!!! :p

My dear old dad has a 1 litre automatic fiesta, arguably the worst car I have ever driven (and I’ve been driving for 30+ years)

Agree with you about the “old days” though, modern cars might be technologically better but boy are they boring to look at

Talking about boring I was tempted to list the cars I’ve had over the years but that would be way off topic
  • Might help someone - on ebay there is a genuine Audi main dealer advertising cheap servicing and cam belt changes. Think they are charging 249 for any 4 cyl VW or Audi cam belt change inc tensioners. May get it cheaper at an independant, but they would stamp the book for you and that does appear to be cheap - think its the one in Staffordshire, so a little far for me.
