Thank you BB. I am really looking forward to these programmes as I find anything to do with WW2 and rationing so interesting. Hoping to pick a few tips!0

Although i wasn't around at the time it must have been much harder to make a tasty meal in those days, out of nothing, than it would be today.
Dried herbs and spices which add so much to a meal wouldn't have been available.
It'll be interesting to see what flavourings will be added to the wartime cooking.
I've recently got FreeSat and i've just looked but can't find the yesterday channel,
has anyone else got FreeSat can you confirm if it's available.
Thanks.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Be advised that you won't get the yesterday channel on sky unless you have the documentry package.
It is my fave channel at the moment and it is also showing Victorian Farm Brill !
This whole month is dedicated to wartime rationing and the home front so I probably won't watch much of the trite rubbish on any of the other channels apart from Hairy Bikers and Rachel Allen - bit of a theme going on eh:rotfl:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
