Medway, that's handy to know ! I did think that would be the case (they can't do anything because it doesn't state one per customer on the voucher) but I was a bit reserved because it states one voucher per transaction in the magazine. Am happy to keep going in separately though because it's a 2 min journey by car and it's on the way to work/tesco etc so not even spending the petrol when we go !

Am wondering whether Focus have done this because they are closing some sites down - go in, get the paint, get a couple of extra bits etc etc. Good marketing ploy !

Yep you're prob right - it takes a dedicated bargain hunter to go in just for the free tin of paint and not be tempted by a few other items.
I reckohn the campaign is also to tempt people who never shop at Focus to come in and have a look round. I always go to B&Q so yes its a good ploy to get people like me to sample their wares...so to speak !;)

Thanks OP, got mag from local shop, looked on internet for nearest Focus store, which is about 4mls away, OH and I went out to lunch then called in on our way back, took longer to decide on colour than it did anything else, went straight through till and did`nt even look at anything else.

Can`t say that will happen tomorrow when we get the next mag for another pot. I will probably spend twice as much as I have saved....MUST BE STRONG......or my savings pot will disappear altogether.:rotfl:

It worked!! We went in to get 2 free tins of paint, and spent £95 on outdoor lights!! :o
We were going to get them from somewhere anyway, as the electrician needs to install them this week.
  • Well thanks op, I went in to get free paint and had a look arround but not much I fancied. The checkout operator even said don't you have to buy something with it to the other assistant (I think) :D

Hubby's just been in to get final pot that we need to do DD's bedroom, only to find they've run out of that colour:eek: TYPICAL ! That's what they mean when they say 'while stocks last' lol.

Will just have to wait a couple of weeks (luckily we've not started her room yet, still doing our little lad's room!) Either that or she'll have to have a two-tone bedroom !

Thanks so much for this. we have been putting off redoing the childrens rooms for a while due to finances & I just managed to grab 7 tins of paint for £14, got another 2 vouchers to use but thought I would wait & see if we needed anymore of the same colours before using them. desperate to get the living room done. Now all I need is to get a few more to do my bedroom which has had stripped walls for the last 7 years lol, always our own that has to wait.
Brilliant deal, wish i'd just grabbed the remaining magazines on teh shelf now instead of being nice & leaving them lol.
    Hugs

We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Focus are also clearing out most of their wallpaper to make way for a new range. The old stuff is nearly all £1 a roll.

Very good point thanks for adding that. Just so you know there really wasn't much in the Peterborough brotherhood retail park focus.
