in Credit cards
I have a 9 month 0% egg card which is due to expire soon (September). I have a question though.
Can I still do an SBT or BT on it fee free or have they sneaked in charges?
I'm finding it difficult to keep up with the constant changing T&C's of the CC firms. They delivberately do it to catch you out.

If your card was taken out prior to 1st May 2005 you will not be charged for a SBT or BT fee...
Not sure they applied charges to catch anyone out. It was a very high profile change... albeit not a good one

I was aware of this change but I'm sure I saw a post on here stating that ALL BT's and SBT's would be charged from now on (regardless of when the card was taken out).
However, I have had no confirmation from Egg so I suppose that if I was charged, I would have a case against them?0 -
The balance transfer fee is definately only on cards taken out after 1st May. If they charge you it is a mistake and I'm sure they must refund you.0
