I would register at several temping agencies on Monday morning. Depending on where your skills lie, you will hopefully have some work by Wednesday? x
    Gone ... or have I?
  • Yeah I have actually been looking for work, bit of a bummer because believe it or not I am been told in not so many words that I am over qualified and alot of companies are hesitant to approach.

Being overqualified does seem to create as much of a barrier as being underqualified, but it should not be so much of a problem with short term temping.

If you are already registered, I would say to ring the agencies at 8.30am everyday and ask if they have anything available for that day. Once they know how willing you are, hopefully your quals will not create such a barrier x
