Got mine this morning and I sent off two pink lids....and among the goodies was two traditional tubes of smarties with PINK lids!!! :j

(A word of caution!!! My sister gave my daughter (2) a tube last weekend she was up 'til 1am!!!! :eek: Smarties AKA pro plus for kids!!! )

There is no mention of white lids? my mother in law has been searching for anything but orange and come up with white lids, has anyone else had white lids and sent them off?

I was queuing in W H Smith in Harrow this afternoon, and noticed a display of Smarties with different coloured lids!! They were obviously on promotion, so I took 3 to the cash desk and asked whether they knew about a promotion, and how much 1 was. 1 tube was 40p, so I said 'I expect they are 3 for £1 then'. To my amazement the assistant agreed :j - I now have 3 different coloured lids (and 3 boxes of Smarties, which I MUST NOT EAT due to diet......) :rotfl:

My theory is that WHS are selling off the old round tubes, so keep an eye out!

I work in smiths, there is no sign of the new smarties tubes at our store. They aren't even on offer, just the regular price. I checked the tubes, all of them are orange.

Oooooooo! If they're not on offer, I must have done WHS out of some money! They were in a dump bin with a perspex flag thing sticking out of it which was obviously intended to carry a price announcement - but no label in the perspex thing...........

If you need lids, ring Harrow and see if your colleagues will send you a couple of tubes! There were at least a dozen left just before 5 today

i sent two white lids off last week i thought i would give them a try.

I found one pink lid last week out of 3x48 tube boxes in tesco's

i was in macro's at enfield on friday and they had none of the old round tubes but thousands of the new shape ones so i guess there are not going to be many coloured lids about if the new tubes are hiting the shops already.
