I would like to sing the praises of IR Architectural Hardware, particularly their security and safety division, Walsall, West Midlands.
Frankly in this day and age I have been amazed by their good old-fashioned service. They must be one of the few remaining companies who understand that their present customer is their future business. They have a 0800 number for customer contact and other normal geographic numbers. On two occasions when I have had problems with Legge locks which I have purchased, without question they promptly despatched replacement parts to me, even on one occasion when I lost a spring which they do not normally supply separately. They sent me 4!!! This is an example of really pulling out the stops to help your customer.
IR Architectural Hardware, you really set your competitors to shame by your good old-fashioned customer service. And of course you do not have a call centre - that may be part of the reason?
