Does anyone have any experience of buying property in Dubai, I went there last year and was very impressed. The rental yields are certainily higher than here but just wanted to ask the opinion of others.

I heard it was a bit like here, overdeveloped with too many new build btl investments that aren't selling. We used to like Dubai but it's too over the top now, would prefer to go to Oman.0

I read something in the sunday papes (so no link sorreeee) last wk about Dubai....in essence, if demand exceeds supply, they will just spread out and reclaim more desert.
I know someone who has work over there....they think another bubble...but I am no expert mind...far from it.
Can you afford to lose the investment cash? If so...just weigh it up and do it.0
