ING Direct - closing accounts.

I have four ING direct accounts that I am going to close, three solely in my name, and one in mine/ex-H's name..... will I be able to close the accounts myself, or will he need to speak to them too? Bearing in mind I haven't seen or spoken to the man in nearly 3 years and we didn't part on the best of terms....

I have been using the account, but removed all the physical links to any of his accs, and I suspect he doesn't even remember that the account exists
