FREE ATM at Disneyland Paris??

Options
I'm thinking of applying for a Nationwide bank card so that i can get free transactions when i go to Disneyland but the OH is worried that the ATM's will have a fee similar to the ones here.

Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Thanks

The below sites will help you find a VISA or Mastercard ATM:

    http://visa.via.infonow.net/locator/...SearchPage.jsp

    http://www.mastercard.com/us/persona...ons/index.html

It looks like just Mastercard's site offers the option to find a free ATM (select "surcharge free" from the checkboxes on the right) :)

I used my Nationwide card at several machines in Paris last summer. No fees, no problems.

Disneyland might be different: I suggest you stock up with money, food and drink before leaving Paris. (Personally I would spend my time in Paris and not bother with Disney, but your taste might be different from mine.)
  • I heard from a friend that Disney was HORRIFICALLY expensive, so you would be best to bring your own picnic, drinks, etc...

Which they will take off you before they allow you in. At least that's the official line - how strictly it's enforced I've no idea.

I used the Disneyland Paris ATMs several times last weekend. I wasn't charged using them at all. Well, wasn't charged to use the ATMs. Was charged for currency conversion as I don't have a Nationwide account.

And using my French bank account card I wasn't charged at all.

Hi, was in DLP last week and used their ATM's with my Nationwide card, no charge at all. However the Euro seems to be quite strong at the minute as the conversion was 1.3 euros, whereas this time last yr was 1.49. Also, Disney is expensive but it's fine to take food and drink in, I had water and some pain au chocolats in my bag. And IMO I'm fine for my money to be going to a company that brings such joy!
