Could you pan fry them so they blacken then peel off skin and chop up for small rice or pasta salad?

D'ya know you've just given me an excellent idea where I can actually use them up tonight! I was going to cook rice to go with the chilli, but I could make some cous-cous instead (even easier!) and add the peppers with a bit of onion too to flavour it :T

I can have that done while the chilli is re-heating and all in time for DS to get back from footie training in half an hour :D

Thank you so much hun :A

You are welcome - I never thought that I would be able to give you any food related ideas as your cooking puts mine to shame.;)

Ah yes, glad you explained for the newbies as they must be a bit confused what we were on about :o We're almost like twin sisters, although she's a few years older than me :shhh:  ... but we do seem to do a lot of the same stuff at the same time! :D

Oh don't be daft, you cook some brilliant stuff yourself! :D

Well, dinner was delicious thanks to your great suggestion, but now I just need to remember to not to eat chilli on one of the hottest days of the year again!!!

Isn't chilli supposed to be one of the best things to eat on a hot day?
We had pizza and I still have some slices in the fridge so could heat it up for lunch.

I am not one of the two am I?

Should not think so as I freely admit my home is "lived in" - to put it politely.

I would much rather do stuff with my daughters or talk to family or cook something they would enjoy than slave around doing dusting and hoovering every day.

Mind you - once the dust is really noticable then you really get a kick out of making a difference. Could end up like Miss Haversham (all the dust minus the wedding dress) lol;)
