  • I just wanted to say what a nice thread this is!
I only really read this one, but have been looking at a few other threads on this website recently. And aren't people on other threads rude and aggressive sometimes ??!! Coming back here is like a breath of fresh air.
I'm a bit sad, I know, but just had the urge to share that with you all. lol.:T

You're so right, some threads are so hostile, but everyone on here is so helpful. I actually don't get much time to look at other threads these days as I spend so much time on here lol:rotfl: :rotfl:
  • My 9yr old used my vouuchers friday no problem. She wanted the No7 GWP, and I had been up twice so i told her if she wanted it to go and get it. She had no problems at all.

    A REALLY BIG THANK YOU TO DOLLARDOG!!:T :T :T

Hi, I just wondered how you managed this? I did my second No7 transaction this afternoon in Milton Keynes Boots on a trip out with my DH and two DD's. I have had a week off work holiday with the kids on half term and Saturday's is normally my longest, worst shift so I thought I would enjoy my last day off with another 'succesful' trip to Boots (my local store is Luton).
As my first trip to my local in Luton a week ago was succesful I went ahead hopefully with my purchases :-
    1 x Instance Radiance concealer - £12.00
    2 x Pantene - 2 for £4.00
    1 X Highlighter - £10.50
    1 x GWP

I handed over the No 7 pink £5.00 voucher and then the highlighter voucher and paid £11.00 in total and also managed to get another £5.00 voucher and another Boots mag (to use for another day's free highlighter)

I was pleased with this but as I had my 250 point voucher in my purse from my first transaction a week ago I thought I would use it and get 250 points when purchasing the 'revitalising hand saviour' which was £10.50 and I had my last £5.00 voucher from the last transaction. Handed them both over and the young SA scanned the £5.00 off and then the 250 points but the points wouldn't work - she said it is probably because it says it can't be used with any other discount etc.. and which one did I want to use. I decided on the £5.00 off and just paid and went. Could anyone tell me if it would have worked if she had scanned the points coupon first? I am kicking myself that I didn't leave it and try again or even pick up another highlighter and get another GWP but it's too late now and I just panicked when the till bleeped!!
Could anyone help before I go in and make another 'unsuccessful' purchase. On the plus side I did pick up another magazine so I have two highlighters to 'purchase' before this offer finishes but not too long left to purchase them in and I also have another GWP for my 3 DD's to raid!!
Apologies for the long post and thanks in advance :T

Hi pinkytots :) I think a few of us are confused lol. But wherever possible, and because of the 400 points, I've been buying that Nivea seperately, whilst still trying to reach that magical £10 figure :D

Imo, nothing in Boots should cost anything that ends in 0.99p. It usually means a packet of chewing gum or bag of crisps at the ready :o;)

My brain's on over-time now lol;)....what I mean is in the second shop if lalamb took out the Q10 and No 17 she is left with a spend only of £5.50 as the product is £10.50 and the highlights is free, so she needs to leave something in to bring it to £10 spend to get the voucher - does that make sense.

I agree totally about buying the Q10 separately for the points - there we go again, great minds eh:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    :D

No pinkytots, you've got to stop thinking like that :)

Whilst that highlighter is in your basket, it's worth £10.25 - even though you haven't bought it yet (but it will be free when the vouchers go through in order). So anything that's £9.75 and above gets you to the magical £20 lol

Doncaster Wheatley Hall Road Boots had loads of the P&P sets today, I was tempted to get one for my mum for M's day but she really likes the Sanctuary stuff, can anyone advise me whats the best buys in the Sanctuary range? I have seen the GWP, not sure if it is any good though?

Have a look back at my post #1857 to see what I thought of the current big Sanctuary set.
