I'll wait for someone more experienced than me to come along, but that's how I'd have tried it. It depends on how you put the highlighter voucher through and £5 off etc.

Plus, when you buy the Nivea and get the 400 points, it tends to reduce your total points, ifswim?

I know what you mean, we spoke of this the other night but I couldn't be bothered working it all out, although I did go with a list today and thought I had done it all the right way :o:confused: OH is delighted with my purchases and points on card though, his mum M's day pressie is sorted at least. :D
My dd raided my bags when I got home and took what she wanted

Sometimes it's good value to buy it as valk_scot mentioned, as that seemed a really good bargain with the money off vouchers etc. But have you thought of buying what you think she might like (whilst it's on 1/3 off) and personalising it a bit in a hamper type thing? :)

Well I got her the big Sanctuary gift bag set for Christmas and she loves it all, so I don't think she cares. I will give it some thought, got a couple of weeks yet to think about it.
  • does anyone know if an 11 yr old can use vouchers? (such as the £5 no 7 voucher, hghlighter voucher...) want to try and do 3 transactions when we go to boots (just got to write my lists to get 2 shops totalling £10+ each to get no7 vouchers, we really do need more toiletries honest:rotfl: ) but thought id look a bit suspicious doing 5 shops:rotfl: so wondered if my little sis could do it?

I'm the same :o I get all flustered instore, but sitting here at home .... ;) And if OH's happy - result :D (I daren't show my DD my recent purchases lol)

While I remember, for anyone near Beverley (or Hull), Kingswood are bringing out odds and ends on 75% off. Nothing of any great value, just an occasional stocking filler or two.

  • Hey Bootsers!
Just did a quick first shop today as I was passing through town with a suitcase!
    Got:
    P+P set for mothers day
    GWP
    Used
    £5 no7 voucher
    £10 pigsback voucher
    75 points wys £10
    So paid £5!
    Very pleased :D

I also tried to use another voucher that came up on the ACM which was for 100 points when you buy any product from the P+P range. SA said it might not work because it was a set but she said she would try it anyway. It didnt work, but it may be worth fighting for it/a different SA may override it for someone else if they want to try!

My friend also got some new glasses which set him back just under £200. This was with half price frames and a special 10% off in this store. Hes not an MSE though. But I got his points, he he.

This was Birmingham by the way - the big one opposite Dotty Ps. They had loads of the sets dotted about. I saw the hat boxes/S+G sets on a mothers day stand for full price.
Anyone know where the reduced stuff is in this store?

Wow - just reading that and I sound like a proper bootser! Fab!

Just wondered if anyone knows where they are keeping all the clearance stuff in Nottingham. Vic Centre don't seem to have anything these days, upstairs or down and Broadmarsh has nothing either. Do any of the local stores have sales/clearance stuff?

My 9yr old used my vouuchers friday no problem. She wanted the No7 GWP, and I had been up twice so i told her if she wanted it to go and get it. She had no problems at all.

Train them young is what I say:rotfl: :rotfl:
  • I just wanted to say what a nice thread this is!
I only really read this one, but have been looking at a few other threads on this website recently. And aren't people on other threads rude and aggressive sometimes ??!! Coming back here is like a breath of fresh air.
I'm a bit sad, I know, but just had the urge to share that with you all. lol.:T
