In that case....I would try calling CS and see what they say. I wouldn't worry about the number of MOC and points vouchers put through....that's what they are there for after all.

I'd probably mail CS, because like you hesjane, I don't see these as 'glitches' :)

With hindsight, you might have been better doing two transactions **Patty** and keeping the 300 points for another day? Problem is, I can't work out the best combination lol.

  • Couple of highlights from my last few boots trips.

    Shop 1

Got reduced sanctuary salt scrub, normally £9.50 red to £4.45 and used £3 sanctuary voucher from little luxuries set - so paid £1.45 for it:j did bleep, but was over-ridden.

Same shop got no7 Awaken eye gel free as was half price - £4 and used £5 pink voucher.

Also bought Q10 cleansing milk for £4.99 and got the 400 points for nivea Q10 - therefore .99p (I do actually use this anyway)

    Shop 2

    Tried to get

    Sanctuary bright eye gel £7.95
    Sanctuary cleansing wipes £3.95
free gwp for over £10 spend sanctuaries little luxuries
then once it totalled "suddenly found" £3 off voucher, but it didn't work. It charged me for the sanctuaries little luxuries and took the £3 off the cleansing wipes:( , so then pointed out that if I'd paid £10 for one set I could get another one free - wasn't quite what I was after, but hey you win some, you lose some!!!

    Shop 3

Went to a new boots I'd never been to before and found some reduced R&M mini brush sets and eye compacts for £5 which was brill, as my 2 local stores don't stock R&M. Also got some p&p holiday stuff along with highlights to get yet another gwp, and pretended not to hear the no7 SA shout after me "you can pay here" as I walked past the stand for the fifth time and made my way to the general tills, knowing I was going to try to use at least 3 sets of vouchers and having been warned by twig 1 previously about this particular SA (bet you know where I mean eh twig) and they all went through like a dream.

Popped to woolies to get my free pack of cadburys mini eggs:easter_ba

and thanked the lord for MSE:T

    200pts wyb Pantene
    200pts wyb No 7 product

No problems scanning any of them BUT.......receipt says:

    pts received: 44
    PC offer pts: 200 (pantene)

    No 300 pts wys £30.

And not given another No 7 voucher either! despite handing over a £10 GV and £5.56 in cash.

    So........would you:

    A. Ring CS & have a bit of a moanie or
    B. Keep one's trap shut in view of all the vouchers/glitches used.

When I tried the 200 points Pantene with the 2 for £4 offer, till wouldn't accept it, but it looks as though you got those:confused:

Hee hee hee - well maybe you can try it for free - I bought the Q10 cleansing milk today in shop, it wasn't advertising the 400 points and they're not advertised on .com for the cleansing milk, which is why I saw this, but I got them. If you got 400 points for this, as it is £3.99 it would be free;)

Hey Patty! Ive been lurking on the marvelous Boots thread for a little while just finding my feet and its nice to see a familiar face! How are you?
Regular Bootser or just bored of Tesco at the moment? I certainly am after the complete lack of H&B this time. Did manage a large baby points shop the other day though, I've not completely left Mr.T! Just deciding whether to have a holiday, save for a car or get my eyes lasered!

Just summoning up the courage to do some boots shops, looks less scary than Tesco though so I think I'll be ok. Planning an illuminator/mascara/gwp and 17 eye shadow with gwp and then a P+P gift set for my mum (with another GWP of course ;) )
Phew! Sounds like I'll be busy when I put it like that!

And I also *may* have a look at .com at 5.30amish later so I may see all you hard core bootsers later!

    xx
