I bought these in my local store for 50p each when they were on 342!!!:j

I saw them in another store for £5 each - and I queried it and got a right mouthful about where did I buy them, they shouldn't have reduced them etc, etc...... !! I decided not to tell them as I didn't want to get the other store into any trouble!!
lol oh dear then i'll remember that 4 next time hehe thnx x

i just cant see how they can sell them at different prices don't the tills know?

can you ask them where they got it from and take it back there?? doesnt seem right to take it into boots for a refund when it wasnt bought from there - there may be something on the barcode etc that when scanned wont go through and then they will know (surely most shops have different bar code systems)

Why not say its an unwanted gift that you thought had been bought there and let them do the checking. You could write down the bar code on a piece of paper and quickly check that before you take it to the till to save some embarassment. That's not exactly foolproof though either as I once took a gift back that I had bought my mum from Boots, checked the bar code but they said it was old packaging and they didn't sell the old style so wouldn't exchange . So embarrassing . Turned out my mum had been given some by someone else and had given me the other persons gift by mistake.

They probably all scan at £5 automatically - but the SA used a clearance sticker first, then manually put the price in, then scanned the item!

I was really pleased with them - made up for the fact that my local "Don't do Highlights Powders"!!!!!:rotfl:

Right. It's the bane of my life - takes up so much room in the bin, or any store cupboard - so today I solved it! Look at it carefully, and it has perforations. Concertina-fold it every second line of perforations, and it is easy to condense it all into a square pile the size of an album cover (do you youngsters remember vinyl?). Today, I made eight boxfulls disappear this way, quite theraputic, and now it's there, ready to crumple and expand again if I ever need to pack anything.
    Job well done!

Never noticed the perforations, we have a recycling collection for boxes and brown paper etc so its fab as the bulk of my shopping is done online so I get a lot of boxes. Brown paper isnt as fun as the pop corn that lush packs in though :rotfl:however not got a compost bin so cant recycle it as they planned lol.

    Hi Amelia's Mummy,

No Mags in Bromborough, Ellesmere Port or Cheshire Oaks. Haven't tried Birkenhead yet though.

    HTH

Still some in Chester and Broughton park but seem to have been moved today had to search for them.

Lots of P&P in Chester. But Illum won't go through with them and the 150 points out of the ACM won't work either. Has anyone tried to use the skincare points out of the current gwp managed to get one through today with the P&P set but it only added 200 not the 250.

Will see if I can drag the husband there over the weekend !! I know that there is one in the main high street with an upstairs, where is the other one?

The other one is on the little shopping park with sainsburys and homebase on it 1st left off the first roundabout from the a483 turning into Wrexham ,Plas something ,then turning has a pub on it and wrexham college on the righthand side. Plenty in Broughton Park as well. Broughton Park has loads of tan wipes and other No 7 sales bits and till doesn' t beep

Nah, just so knackered after unpacking and stashing my eight box delivery from Mr Boots, that I desperately needed to sit quietly and not think for a while! (and not have OH discover the evidence stuffing the recycling bin!)
