  • don't forget the new code for mothers day started today so an extra 750 points!!!!!! Already used mine!!

Can you please tell me where I can find this code? ;) I've done a quick search but came up with nothing new
  • Had a good bootsing day yesterday and will post later, but one unexpected side effect to all this bootsing, the lady on the general till at Boots said to me while I was paying for my booty "you've got lovely skin".:D It's a Boots I've never been to before so she doesn't know I'm a regular.

Now mostly I do this for the thrill of the bargain - hands up - but no one has ever said that to me in a shop before this - so let's see ........ is it the olay regenerist, the p&p, the time delay or is the new no 17 foundation - whatever it is - it came from Boots that's for sure!!!

Is it just me who is really uncomfortable with this talk of purposefully buying things for the points then taking them back in store?? Im not one to say dont do what you want to do but please dont shout about it here or they may tar us all with the same brush and if it means an end to legitimate returns in store i know it may cause a few problems.........as i said, each to their own it just makes for uncomfortable reading :o

Taking an item back without declaring points or free gifts etc is illegal - it is fraud (obtaining money by deception). The philosophy of this site is that (in Martin's words): "Companies try to screw us for profits. MoneySaving shows you how to (legally) screw them back."

Taking advantage of special offers/vouchers is quite legal but returning goods without declaring points/free gifts is not!

Please don't suggest or post anything illegal as it may get our thread shut down!

By the way, Origins have foot paddles (for rubbing off dry skin) for £5 that count as a premium beauty purchase. I haven't ordered anything though after spending best part of an hour tinkering with my basket and then accidentally emptying it at one point, doh! Decided that even with £33 points on a £51 spend, I really shouldn't be spending anything at all. I've got enough make-up to cover half a dozen cosmetic advisers for at least a week (that's about 2 years' supply for me).

Edit: the foot paddles are in the Bath accessories section

It seem that the "perky peach" is best with pale skins.

I haven't tried any yet as I am not sure what to do with it:confused:

Don't want to end up all shiny and glimmery:o

Thanks for that dotchas :) Some of those SA's are scary and I daren't ask about highlighters lol.

Edited to add that you're only supposed to apply it to the T zone ;)

Have to say I agree, I usually enjoy reading this thread even though its a bit cliquey but I also think its wrong re buying for points and taking back. If people abuse it they will either clamp down on returns or set their systems to remove points automatically without the card.

I'm not sure it's cliquey Daisy, I think that certain posters post at the same time, like the early birds and insomniacs :)

Not sure where I fit in lol

Back on topic. Palmolive's arrived and it's nowhere near as cheap looking as I thought. Well, it doesn't look free either :D

I know what you mean about the highlighters. I have 6 including a full set of all colours. I am planning to give three as presents but have yet to work out how to use the ones I am keeping :rotfl:
