I've been had by this scam before...they send you a cheque...for...wait for it...wait for it....25p or 50p....happened to a ton of us at work a few years back...so we all had a good laugh...and cashed the cheques (must have been at least 20 - 30 of us)...much to the amusement of the tellers at the bank...they cleared in a few days...All these years since I left school and I've never once had to use Algebra0

I have shopped with LX direct (littlewoods) for years & have an account with them. I honestly have never had any big problems with them just the odd problem but customer services always rectify it straight away.
I have nothing but praise for them & wouldn't use any other catalogue again , yes I have tried quite a few Great Universal were the worst leaving me with a faulty 7ft wardrobe fitment in massive boxes (in my front room) for 3 months before they finally picked them up.
I do occassionly get the littlewoods (same company but different section) promo letters & always bin them.
