  • Elfingo, American items only, narrow listing range, poor web site, no chance in UK.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

seems elfingo is desperatly trying to spam his site at any chance he can
  • looks like elfingo has been elflingoed!
  • Surely a short strike will only hurt those striking and leave a more exposed buyer market to the sellers who carry on as usuaal? I live in Birmingham where the rubbish collectors striked recently , but now that they are back at work they have to deal with the backlog so really they've lost out as they didn'tget paid for the time on strike but still have to do the work!
  • The main benefit of a "strike" - (it isn't really a strike due to them being self employed, as someone else has pointed out) - is really that of a well publicised boycott.

The media in the states are lapping it up - with loads of interviews with dealers scammed, and buyers disheartened...(my laptop seller, Class-it has been asked to go on US television - I hope he does...)

that publicity will hurt ebay - and strengthen the boycott - and it doersn't matter how few sellers there are on ebay during the strike week, that won't increase trade for those remaining, the competition is elsewhere online.

The lack of choice is what keeps other market sites like Tazbar and ebid down - so maybe they will profit from the publicity and increase sales.?

Whatever happens, the more people who are alerted to the account freezing, downright robbing, interest gaining scams employed by those legal suit escapees to Luxembourg, the criminally bad Paypal, the better.
