lovefilm dvd rental

I'm currently with Blockbuster who I have found to be excellent. Ok, £14.99 a month is alot to pay but I haven't had any problems with them. I normally get a dvd within 2/3 days of sending the previous one back. I have had a few problems with renting brand new dvd's, as there is such a high demand for them, I generally have to wait a while before they get sent through, but other than that I can highly recommend them.
The world would be a sad place to live with no chocolate!

Just ditched CD-Wow rental which I think is run by (LoveFILM) after several months.
Service gradually deteriorated with films way down my list becoming the only ones I was receiving, delays in films being despatched. Regularly being 7 days between return and replacement. Had 2 discs sent out that were visibly broken, three that wouldn't work.
More annoying was there habit of resending the same twice on the run.
Final straw was when I received Last Samurai with a suspicious white powder filling the central groove. Not enough for me to get much from the film however.0 -
Hi DaveBrown,
I've tried virtually all of the online DVD rental companies (thank God for free trials!) and found all of them equally as good at turn around times etc. I've settled for Lovefilm and can honestly say I've never had a problem in about 1 year of being with them. I always get my next disc in about 2 days of posting the old one back). I went with them because of the price - cheaper than everyone else (as far as I know).
It's worth mentioning that when you leave them, they email you with a special offer only previous customers can have:
3 discs at a time - max. 6 a month (which I'm on) £7.99
or another one where you can have more discs.
Even if you don't want to leave but you want this deal, it might be worth leaving and rejoining straight away. Just remember (unlike me!) to make a note of all the stuff in your list before you leave - Doh!!!
