Help Me I'm Clueless

Hi

I'm having a few money problems.

My debt is as follows:
Nationwide CC - £1k
Nat West Current Account - £2k
Another Nat West Account - £500

Think thats about it but I'm paying interest on all 3. I'd prefer to just have it all in one place so I can see how much I need to pay off so was thinking about transferring the balances to one CC. I can't get a Barclaycard coz I had one as a student that I don't use. It's just there doing nothing.

I was originally looking at just putting the Nationwide card on to a different CC just to stop interest but then thought why not put it all on one.

What do you think?
What advice can you give?

i know I've not got hardcore debt but I hate having it and would prefer to just pay it off in little bits and get on with my life.

Cheers
Dunc

  • Also I missed a few repayments on teh Nationwide card recently so think I may have a bad rating.

  • Get your credit records and see what your payment history says, as a first step?
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

If you haven't already it may be best to cancel that card if it is still active. If/when you apply for a new credit card that will show as available credit if it is still active.

If you want to put the overdraft onto a credit card then you'll need to apply for a credit card that allows you to do that, so do a bit of research on this site and elsewhere to get a list of options etc.
