E-on meter readings
I recently switched to e-on for gas & electricity from Atlantic. The only problem that I had with Atlantic was that sometimes the bills were every 4/5 months instead of quarterly so decided to switch with u-switch.com. I emailed the meter readings to e-on but when i received my switchover letter confirming the switch they refused to accept my meter reading for the electricity even though the date was the same as the new supply. They instead used the meter reading of their own meter reader, even though this was an estimate!!! which they gave to my old supplier Atlantic for my final reading. When I rang to complain the woman at e-on could not see my problem and why I should complain about being out of pocket by about £5. I contacted Atlantic who said that e-on refused to change the reading but they did very kindly refund me the difference and reissued a new bill. I am so disappointed with my dealings with e-on that i have now counted my blessings with Atlantic and switched back again.I was supposed to get a free case of wine for switching with u-switch but don't suppose i will get it now as I switched again so soon.

Yvette, I switched yesterday from e-on to Atlantic, reason being that I find e-on customer service appalling. I know that all big energy suppliers can be as bas as each other but I would rather pay someone else a couple of pounds extra every month than have it go to e-on!! I switched to Atlantic's Domestic Online (No Standing Charge) plan and will be paying by monthly direct debit.0
