This may have been listed before.
Just to highlight that I went into this site two days ago to find this years best car insurance premium for our family car.
The best quotes were 'Quote me happy' Norwich Union.
The Post office.
When I went into the individual company sites for a quote they were some 22% higher than quoted on the insuresupermarket site.
Exactly the same information was put into the the requested forms.
I also went into Lloydstsb site which directed me to Churchill insurance as did the Post office.
What's going on here!!!
Just because we are a little older, does that mean we are gullible or worse, senile!!
I don't think Soooo!!
Has anybody out there had the same problem!!
PS Quotes to follow tomorrow.

Hi, just read your post. I think if you get a quote from insuresupermarket.com then you would have to proceed from their site in order to get the premiums quoted. I would think they are giving up some of their commission in order to offer these rates.
If you go via another site or direct to the insurance company then you are not getting the benefit of their commission give-up hence the 'higher' premium.0 -

Thanks
In my day the the base company should be able to quote the better price. Thereby not giving commission to another entity.Follow the 6 'Ps' principle.0 -

Good result.
You must have been paying far too much on your last premiums.
Don't buy household insurance so can't comment.
Do check out car insurance co's quotes before you buy.

As always, can I point you in the direction of Martin's article here regarding car insurance.
If you click through the article to Insure Supermarket you will find its an affiliate link which means that MSE gets a small amount which enables Martin to keep MSE ad-free, run the chat forums and donate large amounts to charity.0 -
