Im delighted, i really didn't expect to see that money again! ;D
May I ask , did you get it fixed and then send them the bill , or did you get a few quotes and send them in ?0 -
I got it fixed and sent them the receipts, plus the receipt from the card machine. For some reason they filled in a hole near the one that damaged my car, but left the offending hole alone.... I found that so odd.... :rotfl:Undefeated Wii Fit ski jump champion!

Sorry to drag up this old thread again, but my fiancee hit a big pothole in the road this evening on the way to my parents and dingged her alloy wheel - I was in the car at the time and the thud was very loud.
I have taken photos of the offending hole this evening and intend to submit the form to the DRD in the next few days. Luckly there is a garage across the road from were she works so we should be able to get a new alloy tomorrow if they are in stock and send in the receipt for it.
In reading the thread, my dad had 4 seperate claims with the DRD all for pot hole damage and he got all his money back. That was in about 2007 I'm sure so we shall see what happens with our claim. Certainly put a downer on the day. :mad:Regards, Robin.2011 MFW # 34

Flip, good that you got it back, but bad that it took 5 months!!
Speaking of Ards, I must send the management of the shopping centre an email - the road from the cinema end past KFC to the main shopping bit is a discrace. It looks as if a few tactical nuclear warheads have struck the road (or what now remains of it!)
Outside KFC is the worst!Regards, Robin.2011 MFW # 34

Thanks,it was just as you come into Ards from the Dee,just as you start to go up the hill before you get into the start of the houses. It's a re-re-re-repair & is open up again.
Thankfully it only tripped the fuel cut off on the Pug 206.0 -
Handy hint - if you see a dangerous pothole on the road , report it to Roads Service immediately via their online form - takes 2 mins

I suppose I should report the pot hole that damaged our wheel yesterday - that would be ok to do wouldn't it?Regards, Robin.2011 MFW # 34
