in Credit cards
Got £4,622.68 on a mbna card at 19% and have just agreed to transfer to halifax card at 6.9%:D life time balance. Thing is I told him to transfer in £5,200....so it's too much. Presumably there will be extra money there which I could be doing with to put into my next highest interest rate card Sainsburys. 18%. How much considering interest charges do you think MBNA will eat up? How much spare for Sainsburys?
Much appreciated.

you don't say if there is a fee for the BT to halifax.
at 6.9% I will assume not, in which case you will have £577.32 left over.
if there is a 2.5% BT fee, it will cost £130, so you will have £447.32 left.
if BT fee is 3% it will cost £156, so you will have £421.32 left.Karma is a wonderful thing.

Ooh never thought of that, you are right ...transfer fee is 3% Thanks for giving me an idea of what may be left. I know 6.9 is high but best I can do at moment.0
