Free Credit Score

Just registered with zopa.com to receive my FREE credit score (from experian), it rated me at 502, does anyone know what this rating means ?

    Experian's credit scores are on a range of 0 to 1000. I think they would probably described 502 as 'fair' - not good, not great, not dreadfull. OK-ish.

    You have your credit agencies mixed up. They use Equifax and 502 is not very good.

    am i just being stupid? where do you find the section to obtain your credit score?

    Been to the site, but all i can see is application links for credit?

    Zopa also put be into their 'A' good rating category. So is 502 good or bad, I don't have any debt on cards or loans.

    mercman - you have to register, but you don't have to do anything with your registration.

    I got a rating of 530 on Zopa, which is apparently good, however I believe that Zopa don't rate you in the same way as a bank, cc company would.

    That's my understanding of it.

    Do they do a credit check and would this show on your history?

    Go HERE and during signup it'll ask if you want your credit rating (free).
