Just registered with zopa.com to receive my FREE credit score (from experian), it rated me at 502, does anyone know what this rating means ?

Experian's credit scores are on a range of 0 to 1000. I think they would probably described 502 as 'fair' - not good, not great, not dreadfull. OK-ish.

You have your credit agencies mixed up. They use Equifax and 502 is not very good.

Zopa also put be into their 'A' good rating category. So is 502 good or bad, I don't have any debt on cards or loans.

mercman - you have to register, but you don't have to do anything with your registration.

I got a rating of 530 on Zopa, which is apparently good, however I believe that Zopa don't rate you in the same way as a bank, cc company would.

    That's my understanding of it.

Go HERE and during signup it'll ask if you want your credit rating (free).

    Hope this helps
