And if you do go the confetti route, theres some biodegradable heart type in WHS at the moment. I played a trick on my husband once with confetti, I put it in his umbrella! :rotfl:I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0

Hi - thanks so much everyone for all your help - I actually wanted a largish heart as I then wanted to decorate it with wire and beads before using them to decorate some paper bags. I'm keen but fairly clueless on all this arty stuff though so your help has been much appreciated.
The confetti is a great idea but would be too small - however, I will bear it in mind for something else. I love qwiksave's idea of putting it in her husband's umbrella - I think that it is lovely but it would probably be lost on my husband!
li'l_p thanks for that website, I shall go and have a good look as soon as I get the chance.
Thanks everyone:A0 -
I tend to buy a lot of my craft stuff on ebay - just purely because it's cheap!! There's a punch shop - see http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Quickdraw-Supplies_DECORATIVE-PUNCHES_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ4QQftidZ2QQtZkm (hope that link works; it's pretty long!!); but if you just search for 'large heart punch', it does come up with quite a few options - this one looks good: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DOVECRAFT-PUNCH-LARGE-1-5-HEART_W0QQitemZ160208167461QQihZ006QQcategoryZ11793QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (again, sorry for long link...!!!)
Hope that's maybe helpful...!

Sounds nice, is it possible to see some photos when you've done them, please?I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Thanks qwiksave - if I feel brave enough I will post a photo - I think I might feel a bit embarrassed though! I need to get around to making them first which might take a few days as I am still recovering from a nasty flu bug ... still nice to feel up to thinking about something else other than aching bones!0

As other have said larger punches are quite expensive- would it be cheaper to buy the die cuts themselves, maybe on e-bay
I have a sizzix machine, with a heart die, and would offer to cut some and send to you, but they would be too small. I also have a craft robo, but can't figure out how to work the flipping thing:rotfl:0 -
I think the large punches are quite expensive too, I'd second ebay though.Millie2008 wrote: »I have a sizzix machine, with a heart die

Just reporting back & to say thanks to everyone for all your help. I was getting really despondent as I have wasted hours searching on the internet trying to find the heart shape and size I want and then also trying (of course!) to find the cheapest! I have also been bidding on one on e-bay but somebody else obviously wants it so I have kept upping my limit for them to only come back with higher bids.
But ... popped in to Hobbycraft today just to browse and try and help me make some final decisions before I bought online and all their own punches are half price :j. I also found just what I wanted and paid £5 instead of £10 so I bought a couple of other smaller punches as well.
I just need to find some time and inspiration to design something now - still it's got to be easier (and a lot more fun!) than finding the punch!
Thanks for all your great suggestions.0
