Very interesting! I just wish there was ever some wine left over to freeze...:rolleyes:0

Agreed ... all what leftover wine?
Really liked the scotch tape tip though, and the rubber glove bottle opening one!0 -
....leftover wine? You mean I should have kept it....rather than just polished it off with dinner....knew I'd got something wrong somewhere....0

I'm quite pleased with myself, I knew several of the tips. I think the sellotape for splinters tip is good. I read the other day that with a deep splinter put the plaster part of a plaster on it and leave it for 2 or 3 days and then take it off. The splinter should squeeze out easily.
I do love the way the writer says 'all that leftover wine' not simply 'any leftover wine' lol!
Talking of wine, we are off to Calais tomorrow - tickets through tunnel paid for with Tesco vouchers - for a booze cruise. If you buy wine with the little cardboard collar saying recommended by Auchon - even it it is only a quid - it is very good 99% of the time. So, this is what we're going to buy.0 -
You do realise that the French only sell wine to us foreign barbarians that they're not prepared to drink themselves?Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
