    All's well that ends well.

The first agent I used was similarly useless. She set up two bad tenants in a row! I should have just taken the keys off her when she told me the first of hour tenants shouldn't be asked to arrange a deposit as he had been such a good tenant before. He simply disappeared after a month, moving his address with the Housing benefit people so that we didn't know he had moved out until after a month.

The second was a druggie - no rent for 10 weeks and then we kicked him out and put the flat with another agent.

    The problems stopped.

Some people IMO really should not be allowed out, let alone to set themselves up in business as a letting agent.
