My son has just had a letter from the MoD to say that they had lost all his personal details (on a laptop stolen from a car in Birmingham) What is the best way for him to make ongoing checks to ensure that they are not being used fraudulently?

Keep receipts for every transaction he makes (cash withdrawal, debit card payments etc...), then check his bank account against the receipts at the end of each week. If anything is there that shouldn't be, phone the bank immediately.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
