easyjet baggage costs question

We're flying by easyjet tomorrow - does anyone know if we will need to pay extra to take bags in the hold?
The general section on baggage on the website seems to suggest we do, but our booking details seem to say we can take 4 bags - but doesn't mention payment. I'm pretty sure that when I booked, I didn't pay anything extra for bags, but does this mean just that I'm allowed to take them on, but will be charged at the airport?
Or do charges not apply for people who booked a while ago - it is just for the future?
Any advice much appreciated - if I have to pay £8 per bag I may well reconsider my packing!

It look like you're safe to take 4 bags then (up to 20kg each). When you book it adds a bag per person (and the cost) by default and then you have to actively remove it to reduce the cost (and not have a bag) so you might not have noticed. Or if you booked a long time ago it might have been before they started charging and so gave you one bag per person as part of cost.
I'm flying tomorrow too and looked at my booking - it says...
"0 Hold bag(s) per flight between all passengers combined
The 1 passenger(s) in this booking may check in a combined total of 0 hold bag(s) for each flight on this booking."
I can then 'add the relevant charges' to my booking if I want to get one.0 -
PS I actively chose not to take a bag.0

Many thanks for advice - hope you enjoy your trip!
