Hi, im registered as a joint tenacy on my house with my husband name too.i want to know if i was to change my surname to the same surname as my husbands,
what will i need to do to get records amended and is there a fees for changing and putting it correct.Please help,any advice

I just did this recently after getting married in September. I contacted the land registry and all you need to do is write to your local land registry office with a copy of your marriage certificate or deed poll. There is no fee and they will write back to confirm. I had the letter back from the Leicester Office within 2 days of writing so it was done really quickly. Go to http://www.landreg.gov.uk/regional/ to find your local office.
