i went in and got mines this morning ...and sales assistant refused to give me the 2nd
had already put first in car then went back in and got another along with some other items ........only one sales assistant serving so had to use her ....she asked me had i just been in ...i said yes then she said she couldn't give me 2nd free ...as they had been told one per household
....i showed her conditions that came with the voucher .......
and asked if it said one per transaction
....and nowhere did it state one per person ...or one per household ....
and i had travelled 30 miles to get it as our local store was a closure store so did not take the vouchers .................even said it was for another person
she then went and saw the supervisor who authorised the free can but was still adamant that i should not get it ...as they had been told by head office one per household family
..will be writing to head office myself0 -
Went to focus in Prescott yesterday no problem at all getting it there.0

Focus Burton on Trent didn't even seem aware of th e offer, no problems getting paint there.0

I've been to Hartlepool Focus today, wanted 3 tins for bedroom. Had kept the T&C on the voucher just in case.
Sure enough, just my luck, the SA said, 'sorry, only 1 per household', and had a little sign with 'new' T&C on it. I showed the T&C on the voucher, but she was adamant that Focus could change them whenever they wanted, or even withdraw the offer if they so wanted.
I had my 12 year old daughter with me, so gave her a voucher & told the SA that she didn't live with me, so did get 2 tins!
She then told me that if I tried to use the 3rd voucher another time & they recognised me, that I would not be served:eek: ! Her attitude was shocking!
Have never shopped in Focus before.... although had been looking at some nice garden furniture whilst getting the paint.... will be off to B&Q instead!!:heartpuls dawnebabe :heartpuls0 -

we went to focus today and they had rolls of wallpaper for a £1,managed to find 8 rolls of contour for the bathroom in the same pattern. We also managed to buy matching tiles for a £ 1.00 a box.The total was £15.00 then we used the free paint vouchers, the cashier said we could put them through together,I loaded everything back into the trolley and left my husband to pay.I have just been checking the receipt and the till has taken off £10.99 for each tin of paint and an extra £5.98 multi save off (2 tins for £16.99).0

Sent long suffering hubby to Focus (Newtown, Mid Wales) armed with 1 voucher. He came back with 2 tins of paint for the bedroom. I squawked that he only had one voucher so why buy 2? They had an offer on 2 tins for £16, he gave them my voucher and he paid £5.01 for £21.98 worth of paint. He's finally been trained. Result.0

Just got my second tin of paint this week. I thought I'd see if they'd let me have more than one at once just doing separate transactions and the bloke said "only one per household as people have been abusing the offer". I decided not to tell him I already had one tin at home.
I did ask him how is he sposed to enforce one per household seeing as he doesn't know where I live but he just repeated "one per household at me" so I'll just go in again later in the week and send my husband in at some point too.:D
This has come at just the right time for us as we were going to re paint most of the house at Easter anyway and now we've saved a bunch of money too. Excellent. :j
Thank youFeb 14 GC - £89.37/£3000
