New Here......curiosity

Hiya,

I accidently stumbled across this forum two days ago. And must say what a lovely bunch of people you guys are! So friendly :)

Ok, ive entered about 40 comps over that last 2 days and was wondering if you lovely people can answer a few questions for me?..........

How many competitions do you guys enter per day?
How many prizes do you win a month?
Has anyone ever won anything HUGE?? A car, money, holiday?

Just curious :rotfl:

    Hi Maria
I enter about 50 a day, and catch up at the weekends. I didnt win anything last month, but have had 4 small wins this month. The biggest thing I have won was £100 of Barbie toys just before xmas. There are plenty of people on here who have won big. Stick with it and you will win - just enter as many as you can. Dont loose heart - It may take a while for the wins to come in.
    Total 2019: £3972 - Best win this year £3000
    2018 total £4062/2017 total £2260/ 2016 total £2025/ 2015 total £3809.
  • welcome to the forum :hello: ..... hmmm .. i tend to enter about 10per day, although somedays il not enter any ..then make up the number the following day lol ... my biggest win was a 2 week holiday to cyprus with £5k cash to spend.

    Good Luck!

Wowzers! I wasnt sure if people actually "win" the big prizes or if it was a fix. But it just goes to show, you've gotta be in it to win it!

    I'm determined to win something.......anything.LOL

    Maria

Ive been comping for some time. I enter approx 20 a day (mostly internet).
I have had some very good wins and lots of very lean times. Ive managed to win three holidays over the last about 5 years. All long weekends. One to Hastings, one to washington USA and one to Portugal. The USA one was a tiebreak competetion so probably attracted fewer entries, the other two were the put name on a postcard sort. Its worth keep on going in the lean times as you never know whats around the corner. My latest win was only yesterday where i have won 2 tickets to the London red carpet pemiere of Rambo.
I think the good things about entering comps is it gives you the opportunity if you win of doing things you would never normally do.
One final word of warning though be careful as comping is very addictive and once you start it has the habit of taking over all your spare time.

    Welcome!
Been entering comps here since April time last year and within a few months had won a car! It can be done, but you've got to be in it to win it!
A lot of other small bits and pieces so well worth the time and effort involved. I enter as many as possible during the week, probably about 300-400 (or about 8 pages a day, whatever that works out at!). It's like my full time job!
    Good luck and happy comping!
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

I normally enter 100+ a day and receive about 1 win a week, latest ones in my sig, my biggest win was last year when I won a spa break, I don't tend to enter the ones for really big prizes much as they attract a lot of entries and I'm happy with lots of small wins anyway :D

    Good Luck to you anyway

  • Hi and welcome to the forum.

I enter about 1200-1500 a month depending on time. I've had a couple of decent wins (diamond necklace, laptop) and lots of smaller ones too. Some months are good, others just a few wins. I've won something every singlemonth since I started almost a year ago.

Good luck. The only prizes you can't win are the ones you don't enter for.

Hi, welcome, try to spend an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening more in the winter as I like my garden in the summer. Some months you have a few wins others nothing but reading about other mse wins keeps you going. If i'm on the computer I'm not spending at the shops. Lots of small wins make good birthday, christmas presents and the wins soon start to add up.
    Good Luck

I agree, just looking at the "i won, i won, i won" posts makes me think if anyone can win, maybe i can too!

Im going to keep going strong, sadly i dont have a computer at home, so have only the time at work to enter the competitions. So i'll try to enter as many as i can when i get a spare hour or so at work.

    Good luck you guys
