Help! How to remove felt pen

My darling 3 year old daughter has just been stencilling with a felt pen - on the sofa! Does anybody know how I can remove it?

    It's fabric.

My other two never did anything like this. Grace is lethal with any kind of writing implement!

These tips are for clothes - but one of them might help with your fabric covered sofa:-

Hi Justamum. I've got a cream fabric sofa so get all sorts of marks on it. I've had success with Stain Devils (make sure you choose the one for ink and felt tip pen as the others won't work). Just rub it until the marks blur a bit - then can you wash it? I suggest rubbing a liquid detergent into the stain before you wash.
  • Once you have used the tips her and removed the felt tip..ditch the felt tips and replace them with washable felt tips - I did this and it has saved me a fortune in the long run !!
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

I did ban felt tips but they keep re-appearing when the children are given them as presents, etc. We have just moved, so I'm sorting out all the pens and pencils etc - chucking out any which don't work or have broken leads through them. She got hold of one while I was doing it.

    Thanks for all the tips.
