new builds - best way to find?

Are there any ways of finding out about new builds (apart from seeing/word of mouth)? I would like to buy something on plan to save money and am not sure where to look.

register with all known developers check their web sites visit the show home complex near you and ask the question, the negotiators usually know when /where the next developments will be and believe me they will keep in touch to sell off plan is hard and if you can see a house type you like look for that on the new development remember to ask the question if you see a nice design where can i view one, even on developments that are sold out we sometimes make arrangement's for people to view lived in homes the people who allow us to do viewing usually receive a cash incentive on the completion of your purchase.

The best way to save money with a new build is to wait until there are just a few properties left in a particular block. They're always flogged off at discount.

By the way, if you're thinking of buying a "luxury" flat in any area outside of London, my advice is to save your money. There's a glut of 'em, thanks to our dear government's favouring of brown field high density sites.
