We have just sold our house in order to move nearer to my husband's work. It was a 28 day exchange cash sale, so have decided to move in with in-laws rather than be rushed into buying something.
My husband has now had some approaches about working abroad, but this would be in 6-9 months time, so at the moment we are unsure as to where we will end up, in the meantime we have £100k equity from the property we have just sold. What would be the best way to invest this money for a 6-9 month period. My husaband is a 40% tax payer and I am a housewife.
Could anybody advise please.

Forget investing. Your timescale is not long enough unless you are very very high risk when it comes to investing. Stick with savings accounts.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
