Holiday planned for Italy in couple of weeks would you;

    I'd book online now, but only because it means I'd know it was all sorted, rather than having to mess about at the airport. I dont know if it's cheaper to do it online rather than in person, but you'd suspect so - wouldnt you?
    if it's more than 10 stone, and that hairy, it's probably not a dog...it may be a wookie.

    Paid £315 for 2 weeks in August through holidayautos some time back - that's for an estate focus with air-con .. think I found a discount code on this forum .. will have a look and report back..

    I used avis because it looked like they had mispriced a Merc. Got one for the same price as a mondeo. I'll let you know when I get back if I actually get it!

    I used expedia who used Hertz.

    This worked out much cheaper than using Hertz directly
  • Well worth booking in advance, I have been told it is much more expensive if you arrange it when you are there.

    I believe there are special rules with car hire in Italy for example a policy excess is not allowed.

    I booked Hertz through Opodo recently which was the cheapest I could find.

    Hi,
    Try https://www.flyertalk.com. You will find lots of Avis discount codes. Used them myself in Sicily with no problem.
