Payment Protection Insurance on Credit Card

From taking my Halifax Visa credit card out in July 1999 I have had payment protection premiums added to my balance. I read Martin's article on this and thought I'd try my luck as I knew I hadn't actually signed anything requesting the Halifax to implement this policy.
They replied that indeed they could not find any documentation relating to this query and although they do not believe that the policy was mis-sold, they accept that there is no concrete evidence that I actually asked for this policy to be brought into effect.
They have just refunded me nearly 8 years of premiums/charges + interest.
Total amount £3,319.46

Take my advice - follow everything he says to the letter and you will win !!!
