Is it worth a mention to MSE that MBNA has now had a rethink on Issueing new cards ie virgin if you already hold other MBNA Brand cards.
As have nearly had fingers burnt with my credit card tarting!!!

Just cut up my A&L Credit card after being charge another £5 in interest on a 1 day late payment fine that dated back to January.... bringing it to a total of £60 in Fines :^(
Not a happy bunny time to ditch all my MBNA related card once and for all!

Yes did phone up to inquire as no explanation on statement for latest charge just slapped it on!0
