just got that letter from Egg - I owe £11K - never missed a payment in 6 years - but also haven't used the card in at least 3 years!!
I can see the resaons but the tone of the letter has irked me somewhat.
I have just come into some cash...not enough to pay it off in full, but I have £5,500 that I can pay to them immediately. If I offer this as a Full and Final Settlement, will I be in danger of losing the ability to repay them slowly??? If they dont accept the offer, I will still pay it into the account to bring the overall level down, but It would be very nice to have the debt cleared.
What I am desperate for them NOT to do is ask for repayment in full or cancel my right to pay them off slowly (even if the card has been cancelled)
I have downloaded a letter from another forum which formally asks for this, but before I post it out, can anyone let me know if Im likely to get into more trouble??!!

in the circumstances you describe, you have no chance of getting them to accept anything less than the full amount for the obvious reasons.EU tariff on agricultual product 12.2%
some dairy products 42.1% cloths 11.4%
EU Clinical Trials Directive stops medical advances0
