Student/Young Persons Creditcard

in Credit cards
Hi folks, new to the site and needing some assistance already
Basically, I was wondering if anyone knew of any deals on a student creditcard (I'm 19, not a student yet but starting in Sep). What companies are best, what to avoid etc etc. I'm not looking for a huge amount just a few hundred pound (mostly to buy gig tickets etc) and will 9 times out of 10 pay the balance back in the usual 4-6 weeks the companies give you.
Any advice would be great. (Looking for X months interest free, pay nothing for X months etc etc, Ta!)

In my experience student credit cards are considerably worse than the normal cards, and have no special offer benefits. The main reason for applying for one is that they are very easy to get if you already hold a student account with the bank issuing it, plus there can sometimes be an incentive offered to apply for it.
If your working and think you ill pass a credit check for a regular credit card your much better off going for that one IMO.0 -
Is the Natwest not still doing the Young Persons Railcard offer?0
