Brilliant, I love um. I take it you just used a heart shape cutter for the bums and just cut the pointy bit off? I was meant to be baking today but found out I am missing a few ingrediants, so I will leave it til the weekend and if I can find a heart shape cutter in the meantime I might even add these to my list.

    Thanks for sharing.

Yes poppett, that was exactly it.

I have to let you know they were a great success and Andy didn't even realise I'd made the big one or the chocs myself, I was so chuffed.
I must say that the biscuit recipe was fantastic, sometimes when I've made other biscuits they've been nice that day but not so great the next day. These were still just as scrummy today and still lovely and fresh.

    Thanks again everyone for compliments.

Thanks for this recipe, Ive been wanting to make biccies with my son for a while but the last time I made some they were so bland and tasteless I just ended up throwing half of them away coz no one wanted them!! do u thing lemon juice would be just as good lemon zest? not too keen on that lol

Ladyra, I forgot to say I didn't add the lemon zest cos I'm not keen on that myself either. I bought some lemon essence but the recipe said not to be tempted to add any liquid to it at all, I didn't want to ruin them so I just did plain ones, they were very nice, I have to say they were the best ones I've done but I'm not wonderful at cooking and maybe someone who knows will tell us if we can add flavourings. . Andy and myself both said they were kind of like? a shortbread taste.
