Introductory offer...but won't transfer

Hi hope someone can help.
OH has an M&Smore card.
balance of £3500. 3.9% life of balance transfer rate until 22/2/08.
Now he stupidly purchased something on this card:mad: so I tranfered his balance to one of my cards.
This morning he tried to transfer his balance back to M&S but they said he had no offers on his card at the moment:confused:
surely if he his still within the introductory period then that offer is still current?
If not what would you recommend as the best course of action?
Thank you

have they spoke to you regarding why they have cancelled the introductory offer? personally i would take out another card with 0% for 15 months.. then keep transfering to other 0% cards till the balance is gone, then amount you will pay in transfer fees will probably woirk out less than the interest on the life of the balance :)
    STARTING BALANCE JAN 09 £47,400
    Debt left 24th December 2010 - 13611!!!!!:j
    Update may 2013 - debt left £8000
    Update oct 2014 - £2500

They just keep saying that he has no offers at the moment.
They cant seem to accept that there still is the original offer!

Err.. 3.9% LOB? When was this card applied for, a couple of years ago?

    from:
    http://www6.marksandspencer.com/pressreleases/Press50.pdf
    Offer launched 5
    th September 2006:
    -
0% on all purchases fixed for 12 months from the date of the account opening
    -
3.9% pa fixed for the life of balances transferred within 6 months of account
    opening
    -
0% fixed for 2 years from the date of purchase of M&S furniture in-store over
£1,000 (maximum purchase £3,000 for new card applicants)
If you applied over 6 months ago for the card, than the 'introductory' offer has expired as the transfer must be done within 6months....

It states on his statement that the offer expires on the 22/02/08.

    jinky,

I think you'll find that the 22/02/08 is, in fact, the 12 months 0% on purchases introductory period end date.

Easy enough to establish...did your OH apply for the card in Feb 2007?

If so, the 6 month LOB BT window closed some time ago...last August to be precise.

would have to check that out.
but I guess he will just have to apply for another card asap.
