  • Just rec'd the wharfdale freeview box from ebuyer, asked for 7 day delivery for the price, came in 4.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

I've used ebuyer for about 4 years now and have bought of them 20-30 times without a problem.. Good quality goods and the prices are very good...

only had a problem once when they send a us plug instead of a UK one... Contacted them the same day and had the uk cable the next day :)

ebuyer. No problems, even sending things back.

City link (& there is a better way of saying it) S-T-I-N-K. Amongst the worst service of any firm.
    Nice to save.

no problems with e-buyer, in fact did most of my xmas shopping via them, as well as multiple PC and Tv's from them.
now, citilink is another matter, who they use for delivery.
the biggest problem i had was in ordering a glass TV stand for the HDTV, and three times it arrived smashed, and when i looked in the back of the van each time you could see it was just slung in.

but everytime, e-buyer just sent a replacement no questions.

    i recommend them

I often hear about Ebuyer on our local consumer radio programme, lots of unhappy customers, never had brought anything on there but thought i would just mention what i have heard.

Interesting to hear about your experiences with EBuyer, and i think i now would consider buying from them in the future as long as it was a lot cheaper, as one of my pet hates is bad delivery, but before i always thought of it as a No No from what i had heard.
  • Ebuyer are a pain if anything is faulty. Thy just deny it's faulty and restock it (if it is under 28 days from purchase), and send out another one. By denying a fault they never have to pay the postage.

I have had postage problems to... the courier company are useless ... I don't bother buying from them any more.

I too have used ebuyer for years and spent hundreds upon hundreds of pounds with them and have never (touch wood) encountered a problem with them.

Back on track, Richer Sounds are offering an LG dvd recorder for £59.95. The price is normally £79.95, thats the price on the internet, but if you go to the store and say you are a VIP member then you get the cheaper price. You can also sign up on their site to receive the VIP emails.
