Hi,
I just wanted to say good luck with it all and let you know that your not alone. Although it looks like hard work and a struggle for the next few years it will be worth it in the end.
I have been there - though not as high a debt as you, I'd say a third and it took me 5 years - but I am now a different person and have benefited hugely from the experience, and it is a good feeling when you finally start to see that figure coming down.
I'll be routing for you, like the others here who have all offered their help and advice - I can't offer anything that hasn't already been said but my advice is watch the budget and pay towards debt every penny that you can spare as at the moment all your money belongs to them anyway and the sooner its paid off, the sooner your money becomes your own again.
All the best!
Caz

I have considered the mooncup - though I use liners every day too.
Try washable liners. I made some from two layers of cotton flannel with a press stud underneath the wings. Knocked them up on my sewing machine for very little cost, and saves me a couple of quid a week. If you don't have the sewing ability, try

run by a lady I know online pretty well, she sometimes has seconds (wonky stitching etc) cheap and if you buy half a dozen of those that would be all you need.
As far as the Solpeidine goes I take it you are addicted to the foul things? (If you take them every day then you are, whether you have come to accept it or not) They really should be banned as they are proven to be more addictive than fags or heroin, apparently. Please go to your doctor and be honest about the amount you are taking (I know of people that take up to 70 odd a day) and ask for help to wean them down and then get off them. You can do a structured programme of withdrawal with has been clinically very successful.
Good luck

Hi - about your solpadeine problem, this site may help

And for depression, I cannot recommend highly enough the book CLimbing Out of Depression by Sue Atkinson, from £5.50 on Amazon currently. It does have a slightly religious angle, but not overtly so, and is packed full of good advice and support as it is written by someone who has had it, not a doctor who doesn't know what it feels like. You can always ignore the God bits. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Ahem, it's a re-usable internal 'device' that laydeeez can use for their monthly doodah!Mortgage-free wannabe!0

Must we be so coy? It's a cup-shaped device that is worn internally and catches the menstrual flow, that can be emptied and cleaned and reused, thereby being kind to the environment. It is moneysaving as well as planetsaving, although I won't be trying it out myself! :j
